* Fight * LEAD * Survive *
It's Cliche to say "They came from the sky," but they did. Giant ships that blotted out the sun and encased the world in a toxic darkness. We did what we could to fight, but it was useless. They enslaved us all. Mining a dense ore to infuse with the power of the sun...
It's been nearly 300 years since their arrival, and now we're on the brink of Revolution. It wasn't easy building our technology and army in the dark. Time, patience and too many lives. At long last we're ready.

Still in the developmental stages this game looks to be created as a multiplatform game from the get go. The team is hoping to build a game that can travel in your pocket as a card game or mobile app, or played with the cards and the edition of a map both on and offline. It's a large undertaking but with the right people we'll be able to truly bring this fantastic game to life.
Once development reaches the final stages the project will be Kickstarted. The team is hoping to have all the mechanics for the physical card and "board" game completed and all art done and ready to be sent to print before the Kickstarter is launched. That way only over funding goals need to be produced. Optimally it would be at this point that we would be able to offer a mobile version of this game in the background should the project reach that level of funding. With any luck the game will be available of IOS and Android "right off the bat" and also available as a Steam game.
Word from the Rebel Patrol!
*aka Updates*
From July 28 through August 2nd I was at an insanely amazing event called GenCon. This convention which hosted over 60K people over the course of the weekend took place in Indianapolis Indiana in their convention hall and surrounding buildings and hotel. The people I met at the convention were amazing and I need to give a huge shout out and thanks to all of you who dropped by the Break From Reality Booth and said hello. Thank you further still to those of you who picked up a business card and found yourself here at this site.
There is and will be a LOT going on in the background and I will try to keep everyone up to date on what is going on as it is happening.
MY GOAL: Is still to have the Print to Play ALPHA available by next Spring. I think this is doable. Better yet, with some serious determination on my part I think I could have the print to play ready with final art by that time as well.
WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN BETWEEN NOW AND THEN:
Daius and I need to go over the game again. I greatly appreciate the work he did with the original idea however after once again attending GenCon I'd like to further simplify the game. I want this game to be something that you could break out of your back pocket on a 15 minute break at lunch and have a fun skirmish with. Or, sit down and play a half hour+ game should you choose too.
I need to complete the art and figure out which game mechanics I want to use so I can design the cards and finish out everything that goes with them. Including an easily folded out *or rolled, small gripmat? Maybe?* Lots of options and things to still work out. So we shall see how it all goes.
STILL LOOKING FOR: Those interested in playing the Alpha when it comes out. I will need people to try to break this game so I can make it as absolutely awesome as possible. I am also looking for those who can code for the following platforms:
IOS
Droid
Steam
Please email [email protected] if you are interested.
